In return for more money ...

What could be simpler than tut-tutting at state Sen. James Meeks (D-Chicago) and his plan for Chicago public school students to boycott their first day of class. Meeks would have parents waste that crucial day by having them attempt—telegenically but unsuccessfully—to register their kids at better-funded schools in northern suburbs.
